August 20, 2010: Today, Tekyz announces the completion of www.rvparksuperpages.com, a new online resource for recreational vehicle travelers. RV Park Super Pages publishes both free and paid listings to the public. The new site includes a subscription option to access special park discounts. The site plans to launch in approximately 3 week, while Corey Durrer updates the database to include all the latest park information available.

These software applications don’t have to be big and complex to have an impact. Even, simple concepts engineered into mobile apps help make conservation more attainable by everyone. Drip Detective is a perfect example of this type of simple app that brings awareness of how much water is wasted from something as simple as a leady faucet. Drip Detective, our first conservation oriented app was published in May 25th, 2010. The first version of this app works on both the iPhone and iPod touch. An iPad version will be out within a week. Drip Detective calculates the amount of water and associated cost resulting from a leaky faucet or pipe. CyberShopper

CyberShopper is attempting to redefine how small business in the mid-west leverage their advertising budgets by publishing their ads in the form of local promotional images and videos streamed directly to mobile devices. CyberShopper combines a web based system where advertisers can self maintain their own rich media advertisements. When a mobile user is looking for specific services in their area Cyber Shopper delivers their images and videos directly to the users mobile, giving the user a more compelling reason to choose that advertisers. DCS

Drives and Control Services publishes software licenses by the largest mines in the US. Their software tracks the amount of raw material mined on an hourly basis by connecting devices to physical mining equipment and collecting data in real-time from some of the most remote locations in the country . DCS came to Tekyz to solve two problems. The first was that DCS needed to ensure that they accounted for all data collected from each devices even though connectivity to these devices was intermittent , suffering from poor transmission. Tekyz worked in combination with DCS to develop a distributed database solution that could ensure that data was synchronized efficiently with perfect accountability. The second problem were related to their reporting and database design. There reports were taking hours to compile and run because of a legacy database design.
